I appologise, this is not a TargetInvocationException, that's just what it get's translated into. The inner exception is the good old "Could not load file or assembly...". I obviously have it referenced, I can see it in my output folder and intellisense is picking up everything just fine. Is there a conflict somehow with WPF or .NET 4.0? Again, no idea since there is no documentation. Here is the entire inner exception string:

{"Could not load file or assembly 'Managed.Adb, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format."}

This project sorely needs a getting started guide. I have attempted by looking through the object browser but keep getting TargetInvocationException when trying to get instances of the AdbHelper or the AndroidDebugBridge. Maybe I'm doing something entirely wrong, here's the simple line I put in:

AdbHelper helper = AdbHelper.Instance;

Hi guys,

Is there a way to use the assign a Imessage to a port (eg. using an RM manager) to communicate to an android device similar to using the national instruments VISA COM library?

Being able to transfer strings across the USB connection would be handy. I may need some help creating an android app to listen to the IO buffer associated with the USB port linked to .NET. After the string is processed, I can create add functionality in the handler application to do a task when certain strings are received. I would like the ability to communicate both ways.

This project looks really interesting.

My (C#) application currently calls adb.exe from the command line in order to start port forwarding to the connected device.

Does MADB support port forwarding?

if CheckForBusyBox isn't catching a FileNotFoundException, can you add some "Logging" in AdbHelper.ExecuteRemoteCommand to see what the output is from your device when it tries to execute "busybox".

I went into the code and set Available = false in the CheckForBusyBox function and now it seems to work. I believe you are trying to use BusyBox if avaialable and your check for busy box isn't handling the exception.

Hello again

Ive have come a bit longer now, has succsessfully connected to the device and get the connected serial.

Now im trying to DOls on the device but im really stuck here.

Never mind the "team foundation" question.

Im up and running.

I have compiled the dll and imported the dll to Visual Studio.

But how to i get for example connectionstate?

My class managedadb looks like this:

Imports Managed.Adb.Tests.AndroidDebugBridgeTests
Imports Managed.Adb.DeviceState
Imports Managed.Adb.ClientConnectionState
Imports Managed.Adb
Imports Managed.Adb.Exceptions

Public Class managedadb
    Public Function connected()

        If ClientConnectionState.Ready Then
            Return true
        Else
            Return false
        End If
    End Function
End Class

And im calling it like this:
MsgBox(a.connected.())

But even if i dont have the phone connected it returns true

What am i doing wrong?

Hello

I am developing an application in VB.net and are programming against adb.exe, eg "adb shell" but its really hard to know whats happening.

So i discovered your link on the internet and it looks really interesting.

But when i try to open the soultion i get this:

The team foundation server https://tfs02.codeplex.com is currently unavailable
The solution will be opened offline.
